Bold & Beautiful Producer Eyes Season 2 Before Season 1 Debut

Bradley Bell, a producer of The Bold And The Beautiful, is deep into pre-production for Season 2 of his new microdrama, 'Hollywood Starlet,' prior to the first season's debut. The series is slated to launch on aTwist, a platform founded by Jana Winograde, Susan Rovner, and Lloyd Braun, in mid-August. Season 1 will consist of 44 episodes, each running between 90 and 120 seconds. Oliver Bell, Bradley's son and co-producer, described the project as their first serialized vertical series. The cast primarily features vertical drama talent, with most expected to return for the second season. Bell expressed a desire to create an American microdrama that showcases strong female characters and uplifting family narratives, inspired by but distinct from existing international content. No actors from 'The Bold And The Beautiful' or 'The Young and the Restless' will crossover to 'Hollywood Starlet,' though Bell assures the new series will capture the spirit of his established soaps.
