Hollywood has enlisted the help of farm animals for the upcoming film, "The Sheep Detectives." Elizabeth Miller, owner of Miller's Ark Animals in Hook, Hampshire, shared that approximately 40 of her sheep were selected to be characters in the movie.
The film's creators went to great lengths to ensure accuracy, utilizing a special dome of hundreds of cameras from Pinewood Studios. This technology captured every aspect of the sheep's movements and behavior.
Individual filming sessions focused on recording how the sheep's mouths moved. Miller noted the incredible detail involved in capturing authentic sheep actions. Even the breed of sheep was considered, with directors requesting specific "personalities."
Hugh Jackman, who stars as farmer George, did not visit the farm during the initial filming but later had the opportunity to meet his sheep co-stars. Miller described Jackman as "really lovely" and noted his comfort around the animals.
