Holliday Grainger's Private Life Revealed

Holliday Grainger is returning as DI Rachel Carey in the third season of the BBC drama, The Capture. This role, which launched her to fame in 2019, sees her back on screen nearly four years after the second season aired. Grainger has been active with other projects, including the BBC's Strike and period drama The Borgias.

Off-screen, Grainger, 38, keeps her personal life private, particularly her decade-long relationship with actor Harry Treadaway, 41. Treadaway is known for his roles in Mr. Mercedes and The Chemistry of Death, and he appeared as Roddy Llewellyn in The Crown. The couple, who have been together since approximately 2015, are selective about public appearances, though Treadaway supported Grainger at the London premiere of her film Mickey 17 in February 2025.

Grainger and Treadaway welcomed twins in May 2021 while residing in Devon. Grainger has spoken about cherishing the extra time with her partner during the pandemic lockdown, describing it as a "lovely" and "static" period. The couple has reportedly since moved from Devon to north London.
