Director Sailesh Kolanu recently marked the third anniversary of the successful Telugu film 'HIT 2' by sharing a deeply personal account of its production. Kolanu stepped onto the set just ten days after his brother's demise, with his wife heavily pregnant.
The filmmaker emphasized that his film set and team provided him with the necessary strength and focus to continue working amidst his personal sorrow. He expressed immense gratitude for their support and the genuine happiness they shared upon the birth of his son, Abhay, a month into the shoot. Kolanu felt his brother had returned to him with his son's arrival.
He extended his thanks to the film's lead actor Adivi Sesh for his exceptional support, producer-presenter Nani for his trust, and actress Meenakshi Chaudhary. The 'HIT' franchise, known for its cop mystery action dramas, has already seen its third installment released this year, starring Nani and featuring a cameo by Adivi Sesh. The makers are actively developing the fourth film, which will feature Tamil actor Karthi.
