The History Channel is set to introduce a slate of new programming for the 2026-27 season, featuring prominent actors as hosts. This expansion of "dad-coded" shows was announced by the network during A+E Global Media's upfront presentation.
In addition to the actor-hosted programs, History has commissioned "102 Minutes Inside the Towers," a documentary commemorating the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, with Robin Roberts as an executive producer. A digital series titled "Mistakes That Made America" will also explore significant blunders that influenced culture and innovation.
