Hindu College's amphitheatre buzzed with creativity on April 9 for Rangsrijan'26, hosted by the Fine Arts Society Abstractions. The annual event embraced the theme "Naqabnama: The Veiled Inheritance," delving into identity and the unseen aspects of our lives.
Handcrafted installations like masks and fragmented faces, alongside hand-painted banners, visually reinforced the theme. Visitors engaged with the layered meanings through a walkthrough experience. The fest included four competitions: Masked Muse, Canvas Collective, Veil of Hues, and Thinking Through the Brushes.
Art Town offered a participatory space inspired by "Taare Zameen Par," encouraging free expression. The annual magazine, Alankrita: Nocturna, was also launched, themed as a dark carnival. Cultural performances added vibrancy as the day concluded.
Rangsrijan'26 drew approximately 1,500 attendees, including students and faculty from various Delhi colleges, creating a dynamic and interactive atmosphere.
