22 Sep
Summary
- Acting rooted in understanding character motivations and emotions.
- Balances theatrical stage presence with cinematic subtlety.
- Next project is patriotic mystery drama "Chapter 9 1835".
Actor Himanshu Goel approaches his craft by first delving into a character's motivations and emotional state, translating that understanding into physical and emotional expression. He emphasizes the importance of being fully present in a scene, noting that energy in performance can be subtle rather than intense.
Goel's extensive experience across theatre, short films, and music videos has shaped his instinctive approach. While theatre honed his voice and physicality, cinema taught him the value of restraint. His upcoming feature film, "Chapter 9 1835," directed by Sachin Gupta, is described as a patriotic mystery drama.
"Chapter 9 1835" aims to blend suspense, emotional depth, and a human story. Goel values director Sachin Gupta's ability to provide clear direction while allowing actors creative exploration. Goel seeks diverse roles to continually deepen his craft, viewing each project as a learning opportunity.
