In a surprising move, former teen idol Hilary Duff is set to embark on her first live performances in over a decade. Just days after the release of her comeback single "Mature," Duff has announced plans for an intimate series of shows in North America and England, titled 'Small Rooms, Big Nerves.'
The tour is scheduled to kick off on January 19, 2026, at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London. Duff, who rose to fame as the star of the Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire, has expressed her excitement about returning to the stage, saying, "I'm over the moon to be stepping on stage again. I've got some new songs that I can't wait to share with you and of course some old favorites we can scream together."
In addition to the tour, Duff's musical comeback is being documented in a new docuseries that will take fans behind the scenes as she balances raising a family, recording new music, and preparing for her live performances. The project is being spearheaded by director Sam Wrench, who has previously worked on projects for Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter.
Duff's pop music career began during her time on Lizzie McGuire, which aired from 2001 to 2004. She scored hits with songs like "So Yesterday," "With Love," and "Come Clean," the latter of which was used as the theme song for the MTV reality show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. Her most recent album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., was released in 2015, after which she focused on her family and various TV and film projects.
