Hilaria Baldwin Opens Up About Protecting Her Kids Online

In October 2025, Hilaria Baldwin, a 41-year-old mom of seven, revealed that she has changed her approach to sharing images of her kids online. This shift in strategy came after receiving advice from her friend, TV host Kelly Ripa.

Hilaria, who has been competing on this season's Dancing with the Stars, explained that she was initially very protective of her children's privacy and tried to hide them from the public eye. However, Ripa encouraged her to take a different approach, advising Hilaria to "just post them. Post it all the time. And the bounty goes down."

Hilaria took Ripa's advice to heart and started sharing her kids' photos more regularly on social media. She found that this strategy helped reduce the paparazzi's interest in her family, as the online magazines could simply use the images from her own posts instead of paying for exclusive shots.

"What I found, especially living in New York City where there's no privacy, is it caused more stress. So what I decided to do was lower the bounty of my kids' images and post them," Hilaria said. She acknowledged that it took her some time to become more comfortable with this approach, but it ultimately proved effective in managing the attention on her family.

Hilaria's husband, actor Alec Baldwin, was also initially very private about their children. However, Hilaria has found that being more open on social media has been a better strategy for her family.
