Hijack Season 2: Elba Faces New Terror in Berlin

Apple TV+ has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated second season of "Hijack," starring and executive produced by Idris Elba. The thriller is set to return with a new eight-episode story on January 14, 2026, releasing new installments weekly until the March 4 finale.

Elba reprises his acclaimed role as Sam Nelson, the business negotiator who previously navigated a hijacking on a flight from Dubai to London. In this upcoming season, Nelson is plunged into a new crisis within the Berlin Underground. A train car is taken over, and he must employ his expertise to safeguard the passengers.

As Nelson works directly with the hostages, authorities above ground coordinate rescue efforts. Their actions may clash with Nelson's independent tactics and the urgent realities he faces. Season 1 earned Elba an Emmy nomination and critical acclaim, solidifying "Hijack" as a flagship drama for Apple TV+.
