"Pizza Movie," a new film from American High shot in Syracuse, will premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival. Starring Gaten Matarazzo of "Stranger Things" and Sean Giambrone of "The Goldbergs," the movie is set to have its worldwide debut in Austin, Texas, from March 12-18.
The narrative centers on a group of college students whose simple trip to their dorm lobby for a pizza delivery becomes an extraordinary, mind-altering quest. The film is co-written and co-directed by Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher, known for their work with "Saturday Night Live."
