The Telugu comedy-drama Hey Balwanth has finished its theatrical run with a worldwide gross collection of 8.59 crore. Released on February 20, the film garnered mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike, contributing to its underperformance.
Despite a budget reportedly set at 9 crore, Hey Balwanth only managed to gross 5.38 crore net in India and 2.25 crore overseas. This resulted in a financial deficit of 3.62 crore, marking the film as a significant loss-maker.
The movie featured a cast including Suhas, Shivani Nagaram, Naresh, Vennela Kishore, and Ajay Ghosh. Its inability to generate substantial box office revenue has led to its quiet exit from theaters.
