Blue Bloods' Henry Reagan Joins Boston Spinoff

Len Cariou, who played Henry Reagan, will be making a guest appearance on the "Blue Bloods" spin-off, titled "Boston Blue." This marks a reunion with his co-star Donnie Wahlberg, who is also part of the new series. Wahlberg revealed the news during a virtual panel, confirming Cariou's role in episode 13, scheduled for April.
Bridget Moynahan, who last appeared in the pilot, is also set to return for episode 17 in May. Furthermore, Marisa Ramirez will reprise her role as Detective Maria Baez in episode 15, also airing in April. Wahlberg discussed how Danny Reagan's decision to join the Boston Police Department impacts his relationships, noting that his long-distance dynamic with Baez is still unresolved.
"Boston Blue" will resume its first season with episode 10 on Friday, February 27, at 10 p.m. The season consists of 20 episodes. Cariou's appearance as Grandpa Reagan and Moynahan's return as Erin signal significant developments for the show as it explores Danny's new chapter in Boston.
