Heaven 17 Revives 'Fascist Groove Thang' with Anti-Trump Twist

In a move that reflects the ongoing political tensions, the iconic British band Heaven 17 has announced plans to release a new version of their 1981 hit "Fascist Groove Thang." However, this time, the band is targeting former U.S. President Donald Trump instead of the original target, President Ronald Reagan.

Variety, the renowned entertainment publication, has also made a strong showing in the Los Angeles Press Club's 18th National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards. The magazine's reporters, photographers, and designers have collectively scored 107 nominations, including recognition for print journalist of the year, online journalist of the year, and various critical categories such as film, TV, theater, and music.

Among the standout nominations is the cover package for "Taylor Swift fandom," which was created by Variety's art department team of Jennifer Dorn, Haley Kluge, Richard Maltz, and Joe Toreno. Additionally, the magazine's journalists have been recognized for their in-depth reporting on topics ranging from "Toxic Fandom" to the behind-the-scenes drama of the "Joker: Folie a Deux" production.
