The massively popular Crave Original series Heated Rivalry has announced five new additions to its Season 2 cast. Emily Hampshire, Edvin Ryding, Robert Naylor, Sabrina Jalees, and Priyanka are set to join the upcoming season, which is slated for a spring 2027 premiere.
Among the new cast members, Robert Naylor has been confirmed to play Wyatt Hayes, a popular character from Rachel Reid's Game Changers book series. Hayes is described as the starting goaltender for the Ottawa Centaurs in the books, adding another layer of anticipation for fans.
Season 2 will adapt Book 6, 'The Long Game,' from Rachel Reid's series, while also introducing a new couple by tackling 'Role Model.' This follows Season 1, which focused on the romance between rival hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, drawing from Book 2 and elements of Book 1.
The new season is scheduled to broadcast on HBO Max in Spring 2027 across various international markets, including the U.S., Australia, Europe, Latin America, and parts of Asia. Production is underway with Accent Aigu Entertainment and Bell Media's Crave.
