Love Island Stars Heat Up Barcelona Kitchens
24 Feb
Summary
- New show 'The Heat' features young chefs in Barcelona.
- Cooks face culinary challenges and personal drama.
- Olivia Attwood hosts the reality cooking competition.

Love Island All Stars has concluded its six-week run, crowning Ciaran Davies and Samie Elishi as the winners. However, reality fans will not be without programming as ITV2 launches a new series, 'The Heat,' in the primetime 9pm slot.
This new reality show, hosted by former Love Island star Olivia Attwood, focuses on ten ambitious young chefs who have traveled to Barcelona. They will compete to prove their skills under the mentorship of multi-Michelin star chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, who is opening a new restaurant at the Port Vell Marina.
The competition goes beyond the kitchen, as cameras will continue rolling after service to capture the personal lives of the contestants. Viewers can expect to see dates, staff nights out, and the inevitable conflicts that arise when living, working, and competing together. "Tempers simmer, steam and boil, in and outside of the kitchen," according to the ITV synopsis.
Olivia Attwood noted that the "rivalry and the romances that unexpectedly unfold in the evening" caught her "completely off-guard." She emphasized that while the show has a cooking format at its core, unexpected dating and romances develop organically. The first episode is available on ITVX, with further episodes airing throughout the week.
