Acclaimed stunt coordinator Can Aydin makes his directorial debut with 'The Healer,' an action film starring Eddie Peng and Ewan Mitchell. Peng plays a blind acupuncturist who uses heightened senses to heal, having previously abandoned a life of violence.
However, his peaceful existence is shattered when his young patient, Soly, is targeted by a ruthless gang boss, Dandy Lynch, portrayed by Mitchell. The Healer is compelled to re-enter the brutal underworld he left behind.
He must utilize his surgical precision and extensive knowledge of anatomy to save Soly before he becomes another victim. The production recently concluded in Budapest, Hungary.
Highland Film Group and 66cc are handling international sales for 'The Healer' at Cannes. The film also features Smylie Bradwell, Georgina Beedle, and Jameela Jamil. Molly Hassell produces.
