The Greenville County Coroner's Office confirmed an autopsy was completed, revealing no discovered trauma that would have contributed to her death. First responders were dispatched to Panettiere's temporary residence at approximately 1:51 p.m. on August 16, where they found her in cardiac arrest. Despite advanced life support measures initiated by Emergency Medical Services, resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful, and she was pronounced deceased at 2:32 p.m. The Greenville Police Department's preliminary investigation has not indicated any signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances.
