Despite this setback, the film has achieved a positive financial outcome. It has grossed 16.4 crore net in India against a reported budget of 15 crore, indicating a profit of 9.33%. Including taxes, the total gross collection reaches 19.35 crore, with the first week alone earning 15.90 crore.
Questions now arise whether Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past can outperform its 2011 predecessor, the original Haunted 3D. That film garnered a total of 27 crore net during its theatrical run.
