On November 14, 2025, a special sand art show was held at Gurdwara Nada Sahib in Mohali, Haryana to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur. The event was part of a series of sand art presentations organized across the state to bring the story of the Sikh Guru's bravery and legacy to the public.
During the show, artists narrated the life, ideals, and immortal contribution of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib through striking sand visuals, drawing admiration from the Sangat (congregation) present. The sand art spectacle followed the Nagar Kirtan Yatra, a procession launched earlier this week by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini from Gurdwara Shri Guru Nanak Darbar in Gorakhpur (Pinjore). After traveling through various parts of the district, the yatra reached Gurdwara Nada Sahib late Thursday for an overnight stay.
The commemorative events aim to honor the courage and sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur, who was executed in 1675 for refusing to convert to Islam and defending the right to religious freedom. The sand art show and Nagar Kirtan Yatra are part of Haryana's efforts to keep the Sikh Guru's legacy alive and inspire the public.
