Styles Honors Music Icon Paul Simon on SNL

Music icon Paul Simon made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live to introduce Harry Styles during his musical performance. Simon, who has a long history with the show, introduced Styles ahead of his rendition of 'Coming Up Roses.' Styles has openly acknowledged Simon's influence on his music, stating that his song 'Walking In The Wind' was inspired by Simon's seminal album, Graceland.

This collaboration underscores the deep admiration Styles holds for Simon, with the pop star having previously mentioned how Simon & Garfunkel's music was a constant presence during his childhood. The show also featured a cameo from actor Ryan Gosling, who introduced Styles' first musical number. Styles concluded the broadcast by expressing his gratitude to both Simon and Gosling.
