Harry Styles has announced the eclectic lineup for this year's Meltdown festival, hosted at London's Southbank Centre from June 11 to 21. Styles will also grace the stage with an intimate solo performance on June 16, a special event distinct from his stadium tour dates.
The festival boasts a wide array of talent, spanning jazz luminaries like Kamasi Washington and Mulatu Astatke, alongside UK jazz scene representatives Yussef Dayes and Shabaka. Indie music lovers can anticipate sets from LA rockers Warpaint and British singer-songwriter Nilüfer Yanya, plus Bar Italia and Stephen Fretwell.
Further diversifying the program are contemporary pop artists Erika de Casier and Fousheé. Electronic music will be represented by Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Jon Hopkins, and Australia's Ninajirachi, with a DJ set from LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy. Styles expressed his honor in hosting artists who have shaped music history and inspired his own artistic growth.
Tickets for the Meltdown festival go on sale April 8 for Southbank members and April 10 for the general public. A separate schedule of free, family-friendly events will also be presented.
