The story follows a man looking back at his life and "the glimmers of hope that carried him through," as told through a list of everything that makes life worth living. Radcliffe, known for his versatility and depth as an actor, is expected to bring his unique blend of intelligence, quick-wit, and charm to the role.
This marks Radcliffe's return to Broadway following his Tony Award-winning turn in Merrily We Roll Along, which concluded its run in July 2024. The actor has several other Broadway credits, including in Equus and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
"Every Brilliant Thing tackles some serious subject matter, but the overall experience is one of joy and celebration," said playwright Duncan Macmillan. "When Daniel told us how much he loved the play, I couldn't have been more thrilled. He has the skills to navigate the show's spontaneous moments and captivate audiences with both his comedic and emotional range."
