29 Oct
Summary
- Harish Kalyan's 'Nooru Kodi Vaanavil' to premiere on ZEE5.
- The film, launched in 2019, experienced several years of release delays.
- It will now have a direct-to-OTT release on November 6, 2026.
Harish Kalyan's 'Nooru Kodi Vaanavil,' a romantic drama helmed by director Sasi, is slated for an OTT release on ZEE5 starting November 6, 2026. This premiere is scheduled just ahead of the Diwali festival, bringing an end to the prolonged wait for the film, which was initially launched in 2019.
The movie features Harish Kalyan alongside Siddhi Idnani, with supporting performances from veteran actors like Kovai Sarala and Thambi Ramaiah. After completing post-production, the film's motion poster and teaser were released in 2022, fueling anticipation for a theatrical run that never materialized, leaving the project in limbo for an extended period.
The direct-to-digital release on ZEE5 offers a new platform for 'Nooru Kodi Vaanavil' to connect with viewers. This decision follows the positive reception of Sasi's recent film, 'Nooru Saami,' which also had its digital rights acquired by ZEE5, further strengthening the connection between the director's work and the streaming service.
