Despite the overall leniency, the CBFC did request a few modifications. Dialogues were altered at four points, with replacements made. Additionally, a specific visual lasting 43 seconds, which included the word 'brown,' was removed and substituted with a shorter, approved visual of 21 seconds. The makers were also instructed to enhance the visibility of anti-alcohol, smoking, and tobacco disclaimers.
This approach marks a notable shift, especially when compared to other recent 'A'-rated films where similar content was muted. The Examining Committee's approval with minimal cuts suggests a potentially new era of censorship flexibility. The film, produced by Vir Das, Kavi Shastri, Aamir Khan, and Aparna Purohit, boasts a runtime of 121 minutes and 42 seconds.
