The film 'Hanuman Ansh' is expanding its reach with a Telugu dubbed version, helmed by director Trivikram Srinivas, known for 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.' The theatrical release for the Telugu version was confirmed for September 18, aligning with the Mahasamadhi Day of Neeb Karori Baba.
Producers have confirmed that only the Telugu version will be dubbed, with no immediate plans for Tamil, Malayalam, or Kannada. The team candidly admitted to missing the Oscar submission deadline for India's official entry to the Best International Feature Film category. This oversight stemmed from being a small team juggling numerous commitments.
The production team is diligently working on an overseas release and enhancing film accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Simultaneously, the artists and director are on a promotional tour, leaving a minimal crew at the office. This busy schedule has made it challenging to manage all aspects of the film's launch.
The producer, Namrata Singh, a first-time producer herself, alongside first-time writer-director Vishal Chaturvedi, shared the complexities of an international release. This included navigating censor processes and asset creation under tight deadlines. The release date of September 11 was chosen to honor Maharaj ji's Mahasamadhi Day in 1973.
Beyond the film, the 'Hanuman Ansh' team is venturing into new territories. They are developing a game with the company behind FAU-G and are in discussions with a major comic book publisher for a comic book adaptation. The script for 'Hanuman Ansh' was reportedly written in under a month, with filming completed in just 22 days.
