Hannah Montana Cast Reunites for 20th Anniversary Special

Fans were treated to a nostalgic trip down memory lane as the original cast of Hannah Montana reunited for the premiere of the show's 20th-anniversary special. Miley Cyrus captured attention at the event, posing for photographers in a dazzling silver gown that featured an imprint of her beloved Hannah Montana character. This ensemble served as a touching tribute to the iconic show and her personal journey.

Several original cast members joined Cyrus on the red carpet, including Jason Earles, Moises Arias, Cody Linley, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, and Shanica Knowles. However, Emily Osment, who played Miley's best friend Lilly Truscott, was notably absent. Osment explained via an Instagram video that she could not attend because she was busy filming her series, "George & Mandy's First Marriage."

Despite her absence, Osment shared a message of gratitude, stating, "I wanted to say hello and thank you to everybody that has stuck by us for all these years." She emphasized how much the show meant to her, adding, "Hannah Montana changed my life, it gave me a lifelong respect for this medium of comedy, it taught me discipline, patience, timing and respect working in an adult space so young."

'Hannah Montana' originally premiered in 2006 and concluded its four-season run in 2011. The series, which followed the dual life of Miley Stewart as a teenager and a pop star, garnered significant audience love and earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Children's Program. A film adaptation, 'Hannah Montana: The Movie,' was released in theaters in April 2009.
