Halsey recently enjoyed a much-needed restorative trip to Hawaii with her fiancé, Avan Jogia, sharing photos of their time in bikinis. The singer, aged 30, sought this break to allow her body to recover following chemotherapy treatments for lupus and a T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. She also recently completed a demanding tour schedule, highlighting the need for rest.

During their stay in Kailua-Kona, Halsey and Jogia relaxed on the beach, went on bike rides, and spent time with friends. Halsey posted updates on Instagram, describing the trip as a chance to "sleep, play games, eat amazing food and take in the ocean." She indicated that her "tank is extra full" for future creative endeavors after prioritizing her recovery.

This trip comes after Halsey revealed in September that she had undergone further chemotherapy sessions and had a new port placed for her rare health disorder. The singer has been managing multiple chronic conditions, including Lupus SLE and a T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, which were previously described as being managed or in remission. She has been vocal about her health journey, emphasizing the long road to diagnosis and recovery.
