Sources close to the Oscar-winning actress have adamantly stated that Berry did not author the post and are investigating its origin. The message has since been removed from her story.

The controversial post surfaced as the former couple remains embroiled in a bitter legal battle concerning allegations of physical abuse against their 13-year-old son, Maceo.
