Halle Berry Fires Back at Ex Over Son Abuse Claims

Halle Berry is publicly contesting allegations of child abuse made by her ex-husband, Olivier Martinez, who recently sought and was granted a restraining order. Martinez accused Berry of attacking their 12-year-old son, Maceo, on the evening of Saturday, October 3rd, 2026.

Berry's attorney, Marina Beck, issued a strong rebuttal, characterizing Martinez's filing as "entirely meritless and deliberately misleading." Beck highlighted that Martinez has a documented history of violating court orders and interfering with crucial therapeutic and educational interventions for Maceo, actions for which he has already faced legal sanctions.

Beck further described the filing as unsurprising given Martinez's "well-documented history of erratic, possessive and violent behavior." Despite being saddened by the situation, Berry remains committed to fighting for Maceo's well-being and providing him with necessary support.
