Priyadarshan's directorial venture, Haiwaan, a Hindi remake of his 2016 Malayalam film Oppam, has reportedly shown no substantial growth since its debut. As of its fifth day, the film has amassed Rs 8.75 crore in the domestic market.
On day five, Haiwaan garnered Rs 0.70 crore across 2,976 shows. The total domestic net collection has reached Rs 8.75 crore, with a gross collection of Rs 10.46 crore. The film's international performance added Rs 3.15 crore to its gross collection, bringing the worldwide gross to Rs 13.61 crore.
The movie opened with Rs 3 crore on its first day, followed by Rs 2.50 crore and Rs 1.85 crore over the weekend. A discount on Tuesday's ticket prices helped prevent a drop from Monday's earnings. Critics noted the film's glossy presentation and adherence to the core story, but highlighted that female characters played supporting roles.
