Box Office Battle: Film's Second Weekend Surge!
14 Jun
Summary
- Film shows 40-50% jump on second Saturday.
- Mysore circuit registered nearly 80% growth.
- Expected to cross Rs 10 crore over its second weekend.
Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai experienced a significant box office boost during its second weekend. The film saw a notable 40-50% increase in collections on its second Saturday, indicating sustained audience interest. This momentum was particularly strong in Mysore, which reported an impressive nearly 80% growth compared to the previous day.
Major circuits such as Rajasthan, Mumbai, and Delhi remain the film's strongest markets, contributing substantially to its overall earnings. The healthy surge on the second Saturday positions Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai to potentially collect around Rs 10 crore for the weekend. Projections suggest the film could conclude its theatrical run near the Rs 60 crore mark.
However, the path to Rs 70 crore will be challenging, especially with the upcoming release of major films like Cocktail 2 and Welcome To The Jungle. The film's performance in the subsequent weekdays and its third weekend will be crucial in determining if it can reach this higher benchmark.
