Gypsy Rose Blanchard is publicly addressing what she perceives as harmful actions by Autumn, the sister of her late ex-fiancé Ken Urker. Blanchard asserted that family members do not automatically have the right to speak on behalf of a deceased person. She detailed a history of animosity with Autumn, who she claims was opposed to their relationship from the outset.

According to Blanchard, Autumn publicly criticized Urker on social media livestreams for six months leading up to his death on October 1. Blanchard expressed deep disturbance at Autumn speaking to media outlets now, given her alleged past public treatment of Urker. She revealed that Urker had confided his sister threatened to intensify these attacks, a conversation that intensifies the pain following his passing.

Blanchard finds it particularly troubling that Autumn is presenting herself as an authority on Urker's private life, relationships, or state of mind. She emphasized that kinship doesn't equate to intimate knowledge of someone's heart or struggles. Blanchard stated she will continue to protect Urker's memory and advocate for his dignity. Urker was found deceased at his Raceland, Louisiana, home on his 34th birthday. Investigators have indicated no signs of foul play, and the cause of death remains undetermined.
