Gwyneth Paltrow to Star in New Netflix Thriller

Gwyneth Paltrow will star in the new Netflix drama series, 'The Apology,' produced by A24. Thomas Vinterberg is directing and executive producing the show, which has been ordered for two seasons. The series logline details a cold case where parents, Evelyn and Caleb Amspoker, whose son was murdered 18 years ago, find hope when a stranger confesses.

However, their quest for justice takes a dark turn when they learn the killer might receive a reduced sentence. Unwilling to accept this outcome, the parents decide to take matters into their own hands. This acquisition was reportedly made before Peter Rice's appointment as Netflix's chief content officer.
