Black Bear acquired the domestic distribution rights from Lionsgate, which previously held them. Lionsgate will continue to manage the film's digital and pay-TV distribution, maintaining a collaborative relationship. The movie is scheduled to launch alongside other significant releases on April 10.
Ritchie, who also penned the script, presents "In the Grey" as a story about elite operatives living in global shadows. The narrative centers on a covert team dispatched to retrieve a billion-dollar fortune stolen by a ruthless despot, a mission that spirals into a strategic battle for survival.
Benjamin Kramer, President of U.S. Distribution for Black Bear, expressed enthusiasm for the film, highlighting Ritchie's signature style and the caliber of the cast. This collaboration marks another project for Black Bear, which also has the Jason Statham film "Shelter" opening this weekend.
