The band was booked to play consecutive nights at the 62,850-seater venue, but Rose refused to go back to his five-star hotel in Mayfair between the shows.
Instead, he insisted on finding "a nice suite" at the stadium. However, there were no such accommodations available, so the crew had to quickly set up an Ikea bed for Rose in the away dressing room. Apparently, the rock star was "really happy" with the makeshift sleeping arrangement.
The next day, the roadies packed up the bed and bedding, and the band continued on their Covid-delayed UK tour. This incident is just the latest in a long history of wild behavior from the famously temperamental Guns N' Roses frontman. Despite his reputation, the band remains hugely popular, and they are set to headline the Download festival in the UK in 2026.
