A former Rockstar Games developer has raised the possibility of a further delay for Grand Theft Auto 6, currently scheduled for release on November 19. Drawing from his past experience working on Grand Theft Auto 5, the ex-employee expressed that he "would not be shocked at all" if the game's launch date is postponed.
He explained that Rockstar Games has the discretion to adjust release schedules to ensure optimal game quality. If necessary, the studio might extend the development timeline, potentially by six months, to address any lingering issues with final missions or bugs.
The game is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Pre-orders for both standard and ultimate editions went live at the end of June.
