Donated second-hand books were particularly given to very young children during multilingual storytelling sessions.
Festival chairwoman Lucy Cotter expressed gratitude for Scheffler's support, emphasizing that gifting books to underprivileged children is a deeply meaningful aspect of their work. The funds raised from the auction of these beautiful illustrations are anticipated to make a substantial difference in their ongoing mission to promote reading among youth.
