On November 4th, 2025, the creator and social agency Whalar Group is set to unveil its latest project, The Lighthouse Brooklyn, a 34,000-square-foot creator campus located in the historic Eberhard Faber Pencil Factory in Greenpoint. Much like its West Coast counterpart in Venice Beach, the Brooklyn iteration of The Lighthouse is designed to provide creators with the resources and community they need to build and evolve their brands.
The new campus features a range of amenities tailored specifically for creators, including podcasting studios, test kitchens for food-focused creators, sound stages, photography studios, a music studio, edit bays, and a digital lab. The space also boasts a library, salon, collaborative and private workspaces, a screening room, theater, bar, coffee shop, and several event spaces, including a 6,000-square-foot waterfront rooftop terrace overlooking the East River.
To celebrate the grand opening, Whalar Group will host a two-day festival in Greenpoint on November 8th and 9th. The event will feature an album release with rapper Danny Brown, a conversation with advertising legends David Droga and Sir John Hegarty, and interviews with actresses Ana Gasteyer and Amber Tamblyn. Other programming includes a screening of New York Nico's "26.2" documentary, a DJ set by Stretch Armstrong, and discussions with various creators.
