Grammy-Winning Producer Kid Harpoon Joins Abbey Road Studios as Resident Artist

In a significant move, the acclaimed songwriter and producer Kid Harpoon has been appointed as the new Producer in Residence at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in the UK. As of October 2025, Harpoon, whose real name is Thomas Hull, will have complete access to the studio's vast collection of vintage gear, microphones, and instruments, as well as its cutting-edge music production software and technology.

Harpoon's impressive career has seen him contribute to critically acclaimed and commercially successful records, including Harry Styles' Grammy-winning album "Harry's House" in 2023 and Miley Cyrus' "Flowers" in 2024. He has also worked with other prominent artists such as Shawn Mendes, Lizzo, and Florence + The Machine.

In his new role, Harpoon will not only utilize the studio's resources but also consult on Abbey Road's music tech and innovation work. He expressed his excitement about the opportunity, stating that he hopes to use his experience to guide and develop new talent in the UK music industry, which he is deeply passionate about.
