Gracie Abrams Tops Charts with New Album

Gracie Abrams has achieved the No. 1 position on the latest ARIA Albums Chart with her new release, "Daughter From Hell." This success marks her second album to reach the top of the charts, with her previous album, "The Secret Of Us," having spent three weeks at No. 1 in 2024-25.

"Daughter From Hell" also claimed the title of the week's best-selling vinyl record. The album's ascent to the top has displaced Olivia Rodrigo's "you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love," which has moved down to No. 2. Olivia Dean completes an all-female top three with "The Art of Loving," climbing to No. 3.

Elsewhere on the charts, American metalcore band Motionless in White debuted at No. 5 with their seventh studio album, "Decades," marking their highest chart position to date. Steve Lacy also entered the chart with "Oh Yeah" at No. 19, while Australian artist Holly Hebe's EP "Mood Ring" debuted at No. 23, making it the highest-ranking Australian album for the week. Indie band Swapmeet from Adelaide saw their debut album "Mount Zero" reach No. 26, and UK band Loathe debuted at No. 28 with "A Stranger To You."

On the ARIA Singles Chart, Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" continues its reign at No. 1 for a seventh non-consecutive week. Olivia Dean holds the No. 2 spot with "Man I Need," and her collaboration with Sam Fender, "Rein Me In," remains at No. 3.
