Parenting Changed Game of Thrones Stars' Set Life

Kit Harington and Peter Dinklage, stars of the acclaimed series Game of Thrones, recently shared how their lives have evolved since the show wrapped. Seven years after the conclusion of filming, the actors reflected on their decade-long collaboration.

Dinklage, who welcomed his first child around the second season, described a settled, 'homebody existence' in Belfast, where much of the filming occurred. His child even developed an Irish accent from spending time in the filming location.

In contrast, Harington recalled a more exuberant youth during filming. However, he noted a significant shift since becoming a parent. He now embraces the comforts and attention on set, humorously comparing it to the servant-like role parents often play at home.

Both actors also touched upon the series' origins. Harington mentioned the surprisingly low budget and basic conditions, like a single heater in a tent, highlighting that such challenges contributed to the show's eventual success.
