A new limited series, "The Good Daughter," based on Karin Slaughter's 2017 novel, is set to debut on Peacock this fall. The series stars Rose Byrne as Samantha "Sam" Quinn and Meghann Fahy as Charlotte "Charlie" Quinn.
"The Good Daughter" centers on the Quinn sisters, whose lives were profoundly impacted by a violent tragedy two decades ago. The narrative gains urgency when their hometown of Pikeville experiences another attack, drawing Charlotte, now a lawyer, into the case as a key witness.
As the investigation progresses, the series will explore painful memories and hidden secrets. It promises a story of survival and the complex, enduring bonds within a family, particularly between sisters and their father, Rusty Quinn, portrayed by Brendan Gleeson.
Karin Slaughter serves as the showrunner, executive producer, and co-writer alongside director Steph Green. This marks Slaughter's first screenwriting credit. The series is slated for release on Peacock on November 12, with all episodes dropping simultaneously.
