"The Golden Bachelor" Mel Owens Embraces Spirituality on Group Date
14 Oct
Summary
- Mel Owens hosts a spiritual group date for 5 remaining bachelorettes
- Bachelorettes write down emotions they want to let go of and burn the papers
- Cindy gets a one-on-one date to share her true self with Mel

In the latest episode of "The Golden Bachelor" airing on October 14, 2025, lead Mel Owens delved into his spiritual side with his remaining bachelorettes. Owens welcomed 5 of his 6 final women - Cheryl, Nicolle, Carol, Debbie, and Peg - to a group date at the Butterfly Mountain wellness retreat.
Owens expressed his desire to explore the group's energy and connection, introducing them to a shaman named Dani. The bachelorettes were asked to write down an emotion they wanted to let go of, with Debbie sharing "hopelessness" and Peg revealing "unworthy." The women then lit the papers on fire and blew them out, symbolically releasing those feelings.
"Today is about connectivity -- to feel the connection or not feel the connection," Owens said during the date. Meanwhile, Cindy, who did not attend the group outing, was presumably getting a one-on-one with Mel. In a talking head, Cindy expressed her hope to open up and share her true self with the bachelor, stating, "I want somebody who is ready to get to know all of me."
With only 6 women remaining, Owens will have to narrow his dating pool down to 3 as he heads into hometowns next week to meet his final bachelorettes' families. The season began with 23 women ranging in age from 58 to 77.
