God of War Series Adds Norse Legends Mimir, Brok, Sindri

Amazon Prime Video's live-action "God of War" series has officially cast three pivotal supporting characters. Alastair Duncan will portray the wise Mimir, while Danny Woodburn and Jeff Gulka have been tapped to play the dwarven brothers Brok and Sindri, respectively. These additions join a cast that includes Ryan Hurst as Kratos and Mandy Patinkin as Odin.
The series will adapt the story from the recent "God of War" games, following Kratos as he raises his son Atreus amidst the gods of the Norse pantheon. Their quest involves spreading the ashes of Faye, with Kratos aiming to guide Atreus in his divine duties while Atreus seeks to teach his father humanity.
"God of War" has been greenlit for two seasons and is currently in pre-production in Vancouver. Ronald D. Moore is serving as writer, executive producer, and showrunner for the highly anticipated adaptation.
