Actress Glenn Close made a dramatic return to her iconic role as Cruella De Vil at Disney's D23 Expo on August 15th. The appearance took place during the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at Anaheim's Honda Center.
Joined by Neil Patrick Harris and Tig Notaro as her villainous companions, Close commanded the stage, instantly captivating the audience. She originated the role of the famed 101 Dalmatians antagonist in the 1996 live-action film and reprised it in 2000.
During her stage time, Close humorously pointed out that while Maleficent has a dedicated ride, Cruella should have one too. This event also served to reveal new details about the forthcoming Villains Land at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom park.
