Girl Groups Conquer Billboard Hot 100 Together

The collaborative track "Iconic By Mistake," featuring girl groups Katseye, Le Sserafim, and Illit, has made a strong debut on the Billboard Hot 100, landing at No. 38. This achievement is notable, as K-pop entries often face challenges on the chart, primarily due to limited U.S. radio play.

The song also found success on other major Billboard charts, securing the No. 25 spot on the Global 200 and No. 22 on the Global Excluding U.S. chart. In the United Kingdom, "Iconic By Mistake" entered the singles chart at No. 22.

This collaboration represents a significant moment, with each group having individual entries on the Hot 100 previously. For Katseye, it's their fifth appearance, Le Sserafim's fourth, and Illit's second. The joint effort showcases a rare unified front among artists from different Hybe sub-labels, who performed the song together on Korean music shows.

Katseye, an American-based group formed by Hybe and Geffen Records, had five members participate in the track. Le Sserafim, from Hybe's Source Music, recently released their album "Pureflow Pt. 1," which debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. Illit, managed by Hybe's Belift, had their debut song "Magnetic" previously chart at No. 91 on the Hot 100.
