The popular anime series Gintama is set to make its debut on the Roblox platform with its first-ever officially licensed game. The development and distribution of this game are being handled by WAKA Inc., ensuring a high-quality experience for fans.
The Gintama game has received full licensing and is under the vigilant supervision of the anime's production committee. This committee includes key rights holders such as creator Hideaki Sorachi, Shueisha, TV Tokyo, Dentsu, BNP, and Aniplex, guaranteeing that the project aligns with the original vision. Sorachi's manga, which originated in Weekly Shonen Jump, has achieved remarkable success with over 73 million copies sold globally.
Alongside the Gintama announcement, WAKA Inc. also revealed another significant project at the same conference: a licensed cooperative action game based on the Black Clover anime. This title, another property from Shueisha, will also be developed and distributed on Roblox, further expanding the platform's anime offerings.
