Karla Thompson, owner of Dutchess of Desserts, clinched the top prize of $500 with her "Molasses Manor." Second place and $250 were awarded to Kasia Zielinska for her "Pink Grinchmas House," inspired by Whoville. Evi Mathis, representing The Culinary Institute of New York, earned third place for her "Gingerbread Academy."
The showcase also featured an honorable mention category due to the stiff competition. Attendees can view the elaborate gingerbread houses through December 13th. This event underscores the vibrant culinary arts scene and community engagement within the region.
