Gigi Hadid celebrated the grand opening of the fourth Guest in Residence store on Madison Avenue in New York City. This expansion marks a significant milestone for the luxury knitwear line, founded by Hadid in 2022. The brand is known for its comfortable and fashionable 100% cashmere pieces.

For the occasion, Hadid donned a "sweater weather cocktail attire" ensemble, featuring a tartan skirt from her own collection. She described the skirt as feeling like wearing a cozy blanket. Her outfit was completed with a charcoal halter top and unique two-toned cowboy boots gifted by Donatella Versace. Hadid expressed her delight in blending different textures and earth tones to create a cohesive yet fun look.

The Guest in Residence brand draws inspiration from Hadid's childhood, particularly the hand-me-down sweaters from her parents. This nostalgic influence guides the brand's focus on comfortable, high-quality knitwear. The new Madison Avenue store aims to evoke a homey atmosphere, with decorative elements like books and board games.

Hadid treated guests at the celebration to a lavish spread, including caviar and martinis. The event concluded with Hadid blowing out candles on four cakes, each representing one of the Guest in Residence locations. The brand has previously opened stores in other major cities, including Los Angeles in 2024.
